Eurasian BIM Forum 2021

11-12 November 2021 (Online) co-organized by Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University & Istanbul Technical University

Moving Forward with BIM

A forum to share scientific advancements and industry experience

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is rapidly changing the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry as the catalyst for more integrated, sustainable and efficient processes. This paradigm change leads to knowledge-based economies in the AEC which open new trajectories for industrywide transformation. BIM is both a process, method and, technology but more importantly, it is now the new common language of the AEC across all disciplines. Keeping pace with these developments, the BIM paradigm also evolves with new possibilities and novel approaches.

From this viewpoint, the 2nd Eurasian BIM Forum is co-organized by Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University & Istanbul Technical University and aims to cover a wide range of BIM related topics and stakeholder groups from the academic and professional perspectives. The purpose of the event is to bring together the academic community and industry experts from different disciplines of the AEC industry. The forum will form a platform for exchanging academic and industry knowledge and experience on the novel developments in BIM tools and technologies and BIM-based information and project management approaches. The focus of the forum is both regional focusing on southwest Europe, Asia and the Middle East; and global including regions of Asia, the Far East and America. The conference will be held as an online conference due to COVID-19 precautions.
